Privacy Policy

NFC Business Cards is operated by SA Telecoms. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at support@sa-telecoms.co.za.

To provide your digital business card, we collect the personal information you choose to add to your profile: your name, email address, phone number, job title, company name, profile photo, and any skills or attributes you list. If a visitor shares their details with you through your card’s contact form, we also collect their name, WhatsApp number, and any optional email address or message they include.

We use this information solely to provide the Service — to display your digital card, let visitors save your contact details or get in touch, and let your company (if you belong to one) manage its team’s cards.

Your information is stored on Supabase’s hosted infrastructure, with access controls that restrict who can read or change it.

We don’t sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing. Your profile information is visible to the company you belong to (if any), so they can manage your card. We use Resend to deliver transactional emails on our behalf — such as account confirmations and invitations — and they process email content only to deliver it, not for their own purposes.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, or ask us to, your information is removed as described below.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. You can update most of your information directly from your account settings at any time.

To request that we delete your information, email support@sa-telecoms.co.za from the address associated with your account.

When a visitor shares their details through the contact form on a card, that information is shared only with the cardholder whose card they tapped — never with anyone else, and never used for marketing without the visitor’s further consent.

We use only functional cookies — for example, to keep you signed in and remember your light/dark theme preference. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
